Eighth Sitting of the Committee on the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region
At the sitting held on 22 January, the members of the Committee on the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region unanimously elected Committee Chairman Aleksandra Citric to be the Committee member to take part in the work of the inter-departmental working group preparing the Draft Law amending and modifying the Law on the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region.

At the sitting held on 29 November, the members of the Committee on the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region debated the Information on the impact of the decision of the Appeals Chamber of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia to acquit the Croatian generals of the crimes against the Serbian people in Krajina on the Serbian people in the Republic of Croatia.

Third Sitting of the Committee on the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region
At the sitting held on 6 November, the Committee on the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region adopted the Information on the preparation of the Law on the Serbian Immigrant Society, which envisages the creation of a Fund and Council for Serbs in the diaspora and the region.

Second Sitting of the Committee on the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region
At the sitting held on 24 October, the members of the Committee on the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region considered and unanimously adopted the Activity Plan of the Committee on the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region which covers, among other things, cooperation with all councils for the diaspora and relations with Serbs in the region, minority rights intergovernmental commissions, councils of the parliaments in the region dealing with the subject matter, as well as other National Assembly committees, various organisations and associations.
