The Committee members unanimously decided to hold a public hearing on the topic “Political Rights of the Serbian People in the Countries in the Region”, to he held on 14 February 2013. According to plan, the public hearing is to include the National Assembly Speaker, representatives of the Office for Cooperation with the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region, ministry representatives, prominent representatives of Serbs in the region, as well as other institutions and organisations.
In the continuation, Committee Chairman Aleksandra Citric informed the Committee members about the visit which he and Committee member Aleksandra Djurovic paid to FR Germany from 14-17 December 2012, at the invitation of the Central Council of Serbs.
The Committee Chairman also informed the members that Committee Secretary Vesna Matic Vukasinovic would be the associate member of the inter-departmental working group preparing the Draft Law amending and modifying the Law on the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region.
