National Assembly’s Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality Committee Delegation Takes Part in Interparliamentary Meeting at European Parliament

The Chairman of the Committee on Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality Aleksandar Markovic, Committee member Sonja Pernat and deputy member Jasmina Karanac took part, at the invitation of the European Parliament’s Committee on Women's Rights and Gender Equality (FEMM), at the Interparliamentary meeting organised to mark International Women’s Day, with the topic “Women’s rights and democracy: combating stereotypes, disinformation and violence in the digital age". The meeting was held on 5 March 2026 at the European Parliament in Brussels.

PFG with Italy, the Holy See and the Sovereign Order of Malta Visits Italy
The Head of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Italy, the Holy See and the Sovereign Order of Malta, Jovan Palalic, and PFG members Biljana Pantic Pilja, Olivera Denic, Jadranka Jovanovic, Ana Miljanic and Aleksandar Mirkovic paid an official visit to the Republic of Italy from 23 to 26 February 2026, during which they had meetings with the President of Chamber of Deputies, Lorenzo Fontana, Chairperson of the Senate Foreign Affairs and Defence Committee Stefania Craxi, Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies Foreign and European Affairs Committee Giulio Tremonti, Chairman of the European Union Policies Committee Alessandro Giglio Vigna, Head of the Italy-Serbia Bilateral Friendship Group, Dimitri Coin, Minister for Parliamentary Relations Luca Ciriani, Member of Parliament Piero Fassino, as well as representatives of the Sovereign Order of Malta.
