Mladen Grujic Elected Member of IPU Committee on Human Rights Parliamentarians
Member of Parliament and member of our standing delegation to the Inter-Parliamentary Union, Mladen Grujic was elected member of the IPU Committee on Human Rights of Parliamentarians for a five-year term. Our candidate received by far the most votes, 96 in favour, in competition with ten candidates from seven countries - Argentina, Paraguay, the Philippines, Pakistan, Uganda, Mongolia and the Maldives.

Paunovic at General Debate: Serbia Stands for Controlled Use of Science
The general debate of the 149th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) continued today in Geneva, and National Assembly Deputy Speaker Snezana Paunovic addressed the attending saying that controlled use of science is the basis of the national development strategy for Serbia, which has invested significantly in the development of the information sector and communication technologies (IT), that recorded an increase in exports from 375 million euros in 2012 to more than four billion euros, which is expected this year.

Paunovic: Serbia Done a Lot in Field of Modern Technologies, Awareness on Use of Artificial Intelligence Very Important
National Assembly Deputy Speaker and head of the Serbian delegation at the Autumn Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), Snezana Paunovic, said today that the topic of this year's debate "Harnessing science, technology and innovation for a more peaceful and a sustainable future" is very important and pointed out that Serbia has done a lot in terms of modern technologies, the most important of which being that in our country there is an awareness of how artificial intelligence should be used.
