First Sitting of the Committee on the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region
The Committee on the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region held its first sitting on 25 July 2012.
The sitting was convened by the National Assembly Speaker, MA Nebojsa Stefanovic, as stipulated in Article 25 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure. The sitting was chaired by the oldest Committee member, Prof. Dr Marko Atlagic from the Serbian Progressive Party Parliamentary Group.
MP Aleksandar Cotric, from the Serbian Renewal Movement – Demo-Christian Party of Serbia Parliamentary Group, was elected Committee Chairman. The Committee members agreed to elect the Committee Deputy Chairperson at the next sitting.
