Aleksandra Djurovic Elected Chairperson of PACE Sub-Committee on External Relations
In addition to being elected Vice-President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) on Monday, today, Aleksandra Djurovic was also elected Chairperson of the prestigious PACE Sub-Committee on External Relations, for a one-year mandate with the option of re-election. The Sub-Committee functions within the PACE Committee on Political Affairs and Democracy.

Eighth Sitting of the Security Services Control Committee
At the sitting held on 24 January 2017 and closed to the public, the Security Services Control Committee formulated its 2017 Activity Plan. According to the Activity Plan, the Security Services Control Committee is to have sittings outside of the Assembly seat to review the security services’ regular reports, pay supervisory visits to security services’ regional centres, and fully exercise its authorities relating to the control of the security services’ work.

Aleksandra Djurovic Elected Vice-President of Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe
MP Aleksandra Djurovic, Head of the National Assembly’s standing delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), was elected PACE Vice-President at this morning’s plenary session. She will be holding the post in 2017 and 2018.

12th Sitting of the Committee on Spatial Planning, Transport, Infrastructure and Telecommunications
At the sitting held on 23 January, the members of the Committee on Spatial Planning, Transport, Infrastructure and Telecommunications reviewed the Addendum to the basis for the conclusion of Agreement amending the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Russian Federation on International Road Transport by exchange of notes, to grant consent to the provisional application of the Agreement pending its coming into force.
