OSCE PA Winter Meeting in Vienna Completed
The standing delegation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, headed by Stefana Miladinovic, took part in OSCE PA Winter Meeting, 22-23 February, in Vienna. The delegation also comprised Dusica Stojkovic, Milimir Vujadinovic and Meho Omerovic.

Members of PFG with Israel Meet with Israeli High-School Students
National Assembly Deputy Speaker and Head of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Israel Prof. Dr Vladimir Marinkovic and PFG members Marko Djurisic, Prof. Dr Ljubisa Stojmirovic, Ognjen Pantovic and MA Ivan Kostic met today at the National Assembly with a group of Israeli high-school students visiting Serbia.

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojkovic opened the conference on “Intergenerational Solidarity and Aging with Dignity” at the Serbian Assembly today, stressing that it is essential for the whole society – its institutions, civil organisations and the media to work together to spread a positive image of aging.

Education, Science, Technological Development and Information Society Committee Chairman Receives Group of Citizens of Novi Pazar
The Chairman of the Committee on Education, Science, Technological Development and the Information Society Muamer Zukorlic and Committee Deputy Chairman Prof. Dr Ljubisa Stojmirovic received a group of citizens of Novi Pazar at the National Assembly to receive a petition demanding a resolution of the problem caused by the disregard of regulations controlling the distance of betting shops and gambling establishments from educational institutions.

26th Sitting of the Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Committee
At the sitting held on 20 February 2018, the members of the Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Committee considered the plan of IPARD public calls for 2018, plan of national support measures for agricultural producers, ban on fruit and vegetable export with a special focus on exports to the Russian Federation and activating the provisions of Serbia’s EU Stabilisation and Association Agreement.
