National Assembly Delegation at PACE Standing Committee and Bureau Meetings
The National Assembly’s standing delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe headed by Dr Aleksandra Tomic is taking part in the meetings of the PACE Standing Committee and Bureau. The meetings are also attended by Marija Obradovic, Vice-President of the Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe, and Elvira Kovacs, Chairperson of the PACE Committee on Equality and Non-Discrimination. Elvira Kovacs will be presenting a report on “Gender equality and child maintenance” to the Standing Committee.

The member of the National Assembly’s standing delegation to the South East Europe Cooperation Process Parliamentary Assembly (SEECP PA), Dr Sci. Med. Darko Laketic met today, at the National Assembly House, with Turkish Ambassador to Serbia H.E. Tanju Bilgiç to discuss the two countries’ cooperation within the SEECP PA.

Gojkovic Meets with South Korean Parliament Deputy Speaker
The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojkovic met today with the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Korea Park Joo-sun. The officials opined that the good and friendly relations between Serbia and the Republic of Korea could be additionally enhanced through political dialogue and economic cooperation for which there is ample room.

National Assembly Delegation to OSCE PA at International Conference in Baku
The standing delegation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly is taking part in the International Conference on the role of parliamentarians in boosting economic cooperation and cultural ties along the Silk Road, in Baku, 13 - 14 March. The delegation headed by Stefana Miladinovic also includes Dusica Stojkovic.

34th Sitting of the European Integration Committee
At its 34th sitting, held on 14 March 2018 and, pursuant to Article 255 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure, closed to the public, the European Integration Committee considered and gave a positive opinion to the Proposal of the Negotiating Position of the Republic of Serbia for Chapter 17 – Economic and monetary policy.
