National Assembly Deputy Speaker Djordje Milicevic at Meeting of Central and Eastern Europe Parliament Speakers
Djordje Milicevic, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, is taking part in the meeting of Parliament Speakers of Central and Eastern Europe organised in Warsaw by the Polish Parliament, with the topics: role of national parliaments in international politics, regional security, cooperation on the infrastructural development of the north--south axis and Central and Eastern European values.

Meho Omerovic Receives Letter of Gratitude from Gay Straight Alliance
On 17 May – International Day Against Homophobia and the 5th anniversary of the Rainbow award, the Gay Straight Alliance and the jury awarded a letter of gratitude to Meho Omerovic, Member of Parliament and Chairman of the National Assembly’s Committee on Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality, for his long-standing professional and social engagement in the fight for human rights of LGBT people and support of the LGBT community in Serbia.

PFG with Denmark Meets with Danish Embassy Charge d’Affairs
The members of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Denmark, headed by the chair, Dr Vesna Rakonjac, met today with the Charge d’Affairs of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Denmark in Belgrade Morten Skovgaard Hansen to discuss the traditionally good relations between the two countries and intensifying cooperation in a number of areas such as healthcare, agriculture, defence and rule of law.

Gojkovic in Doha – Meetings with Parliament Speaker and Foreign Minister
The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojkovic met with the Speaker of the Advisory Council of the State of Qatar Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khulaifi and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani to discuss improving relations between Serbia and Qatar and developing parliamentary cooperation, as well as many issues of common interest.
