Gojkovic: Pristina’s Actions Brutal Violation of UNSC Resolution 1244
“The decision of the provisional institutions in Pristina on the establishment of so called “Kosovo Army” is a brutal act in violation on UNSC Resolution 1244 and in direct opposition to all relevant regional agreements.
This is the last in a series of Pristina’s unilateral and violent solutions aimed against the Serbian people in Kosovo-Metohija, destroying the foundations of the security structures created in the last decades to ensure the long-term stability of the region.
This threat to peace and stability in the region demands a response of the international institutions, primarily those whose direct responsibility is to maintain the legal order and guarantee the safety of all the citizens in Kosovo-Metohija”, said the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojkovic.
