National Assembly Delegation at IPU Fifth Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians
Jelena Mijatovic, member of the National Assembly’s standing delegation to the Inter-Parliamentary Union is taking part in the Fifth Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians “Promoting sustainability, protecting the interests of future generations”, 14 - 15 December 2018, in Baku, Azerbaijan.
The National Assembly’s delegation also comprises MP Olivera Ognjanovic as representative of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean.
The Conference is co-organized by the Inter-Parliamentary Union and the Parliament of Azerbaijan.
The key topics of the Conference are the role of youth in environmental protection, sustainable consumption and production for future generations, youth participation in national parliaments, the jobs of tomorrow, etc.
