Hundred and Fifteenth Sitting of the Legislative Committee

At the sitting held on 31 March, the Legislative Committee considered, in principle, the 14 Bills proposed to be included into the agenda for the Third Sitting of the First Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2011. The Committee decided to inform the National Assembly that all the Bills adhere to the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

Thirty-Eighth Sitting of the European Integrations Committee

At the sitting held on 31 March, the European Integrations Committee considered, in principle, the Bills included into the agenda for the Third Sitting of the First Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2011.Representatives of the Ministry of Justice briefed the Committee members on the innovations contained in the Bills on Advocacy, Public Notaries, Enforcement and Security and amending and modifying the Law on Enforcement of Penal Sanctions.

Petitions and Proposals Committee Chairman Visits Raca

The Chairman of the Committee on Petitions and Proposals visited the YURA Corporation in Raca today. The reason for the visit was the petition submitted by 13 of the company’s employees complaining of the corporation owner who, according to them, forbade them to unionise.

Thirty-First Sitting of the Committee on Transportation and Communications

At the sitting held on 30 March, the Committee on Transportation and Communications considered the Information on the Activities of the Ministry of Infrastructure in 2010 and Information on the Activities of the Ministry of Telecommunications in 2010.The Committee members were briefed on two ministries’ most important activities in the previous year by the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy Milutin Mrkonjic and the former Minister of Telecommunication and Information Society Jasna Matic.
