Twenty-Sixth Sitting of the Privatisation Committee
At the sitting held on 14 March, the Privatisation Committee considered and accepted the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development Reports on the Activities of the Privatisation Agency for November and December 2010, as well as January and February 2011.The Committee also considered and accepted the Privatisation Agency’s Work Programmes for December 2010 and January, February and March 2011.In addition, the Committee also accepted the Privatisation Agency’s 2011 Work Programme drafted by the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development.

NARS Speaker Sends Telegram of Condolences to Japanese Parliament Speaker
The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic, sent a telegram of condolences to Japanese Parliament Speaker Takahiro Yokomichi in the wake of the catastrophic earthquake which claimed a large number of lives in the northeast of the country.

NARS and OSCE PA Sign Agreement on 20th OSCE PA Annual Session in Belgrade
On 10 March 2011, at the National Assembly House, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic and OSCE Parliamentary Assembly President Petros Efthymiou signed a Cooperation Agreement between the NARS and OSCE PA on the organisation of the 20th OSCE PA Annual Session in July in Belgrade, which, according to the NARS Speaker marked the beginning of “the most important parliamentary and political event in 2011”.

Forty-Fourth Sitting of the Committee on Health and the Family
On 10 March 2011, the Committee on Health and the Family held its forty-fourth sitting. The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Paja Momcilov and attended by the President of the Serbian Health Council, Prof. Dr Dragan Delic. The Committee members considered the Serbian Health Council’s 2010 Activity Report, presented by SHC President Delic.
