At the invitation of the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia, France Cukjati, the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Predrag Markovic, attended, on Friday 10 June and Saturday 22 June 2005, in Bled, the Regional Meeting of Speakers of Parliaments of Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, and Western Balkan countries.

At a press conference held today, Predrag Markovic, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and chairman of the Honorary Governing Board of the International Bicycle Race Tour of Serbia 2005, underlined that many people did not know Serbia well enough.

43rd session of the Privatisation Committee
At its session held on 6 June 2005, the Privatisation Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia discussed and endorsed the Report of the Ministry of the Economy on the Activities of the Privatisation Agency for April 2005, with the associated Programme of Activities of the Agency for May 2005.In addition to the deputies, the session was attended by officials of the Ministry of the Economy and the Privatisation Agency.
