At its session held on 31 May 2005, the European Integrations Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia discussed the Second Report on the Implementation of the Action Plan for Achieving Priorities of European Partnership, submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia.

The Resolution on Joining the European Union, adopted by the National Assembly in October 2004, requires the Government of the Republic of Serbia to inform the Assembly every three months on the implementation of all activities necessary to accelerate the process of accession of the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro to the European Union.

After being addressed by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Miroljub Labus, and the Secretary of the European Union Integration Office, Tanja Miscevic, the European Integrations Committee unanimously endorsed the Second Report on the Implementation of the Action Plan for Achieving Priorities of European Partnership.

The session, chaired by the chairperson of the Committee, Ksenija Milivojevic, was also attended by representatives of the European Commission and the European Movement.
