Birth of a law

What is a law?

A law is a general legal act of the state adopted by the National Assembly through the previously determined legislative procedure. With the exception of the Constitution, a law is the highest level legal act in the legal system of the Republic of Serbia. Within the structure of legal acts, it is an act based on the Constitution that serves as a basis for the adoption of all other legal acts of lesser legal importance (by-laws).
