28th Sitting of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues
At the sitting held on 25 August 2017, the members of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues reviewed and unanimously decided to forward to the National Assembly a Report stating that the death of MP Miroljub Stankovic falls within the situation set out in article 88, paragraph 1, item 8 of the Law on Election of MPs according to which an MP’s term of office is terminated before the expiry of the term they were elected for upon their death, thus proposing that the National Assembly note the termination of the abovementioned MP’s term of office.
