Gojkovic at Meeting of Heads of Eurasian Parliaments
The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojkovic will take part in the Third meeting of Speakers of Eurasian Countries’ Parliaments, 8 – 10 October in Turkey, to be attended by more than 20 speakers of parliament, 15 deputy speakers, several hundreds of parliamentarians and numerous representatives of international organizations.

Guinea-Bissau Parliamentary Delegation Visits National Assembly
A delegation of the Parliament of Guinea-Bissau, currently in official visit to the Republic of Serbia, met today at the National Assembly House with the members of the Foreign Affairs Committee, Committee on Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality and the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee to exchange experiences concerning the organization and operation of the two countries’ parliamentary working bodies.

Gojkovic at Danube Region Parliamentary Conference
Addressing the 5th Conference of Danube Region Parliaments in Budapest, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojkovic stressed that it is vital that the region recognize the impact of climate change on agriculture, a branch of economy with an increasingly important strategic interest in most of the Danube countries, and it is up to the parliaments to use their legislative power and remit to better tackle the problems it poses.
