Second Sitting of the Agriculture Committee

At the second sitting held on 30 July, the Agriculture Committee discussed the Information of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management on the completed harvest of stubble cereals and the total state of agriculture and the Ministry’s Work Programme for the rest of 2008.The sitting was chaired by the Committee Chairman Zoran Masic, and attended by the Minister of Agriculture Sasa Dragin and associates.

The first sitting of the Agriculture Committee had been convened, in line with the Rules of Procedure, by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic. Until the election of Committee Chairman, the sitting was chaired by the oldest Committee member, deputy Sinisa Stamenkovic from the Party of United Pensioners-PUPS Deputy Group.

The Committee on Health and the Family of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia held its first sitting on 21 July 2008, convened under article 26 of the National Assembly’s Rules of Procedure, by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic. Until the election of Chairman the sitting was chaired by the oldest committee member, deputy Dr Nikola Krpic.
