Third Meeting of Working Group on Broadcasting National Assembly Sessions
At the meeting held on 1 October, the Working Group on Broadcasting National Assembly Sessions discussed the Conclusions of the RTS Collegium submitted to the National Assembly on 29 September 2009. The meeting was chaired by National Assembly Secretary General and Working Group Coordinator Veljko Odalovic, and attended by the National Assembly Speaker, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic and RTS Director General Aleksandar Tijanic.

National Assembly Receives Award for Contributing to Right to Free Access to Information of Public Importance and Transparency of Work
The National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia received a recognition on the occasion of the commemoration of the International Right to Know Day, established in 2002. The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic received the recognition from the head of the jury and Commissioner for Information of Public Importance, Rodoljub Sabic.

Spanish Parliamentary Delegation Meets With European Integration and Foreign Affairs Committees Chairmen
Heading the delegations of the European Integration and Foreign Affairs Committees of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, their respective Chairmen, Laszlo Varga and Prof. Dr Dragoljub Micunovic, received a delegation of the Spanish Parliament in separate visits today. The delegation, comprising deputies of the Senate and Congress of the Spanish Parliament, was headed by Alex Saez Jubero, Vice President of the Mixed Commission for European Union Relations.

During their visit to Australia and meetings in Canberra, the members of the delegation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, headed by the Assembly Speaker, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic, talked to Harry Jenkins, Speaker of the House of Representatives, John Hogg, President of the Senate, Julia Bishop, deputy leader of the opposition and Shadow Minister for Foreign Affairs, Steven Smith, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Tony Zappia, president of the Australia-Serbia friendship group, Laurie Ferguson, Parliamentary Secretary for Multicultural Affairs and David Hawker, Deputy Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee.
