The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic, convened the Second Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2009, for Monday, 26 October 2009, starting at 2 p.m.

For the sitting, the National Assembly Speaker proposed an agenda containing 53 items - 27 Bills, 24 bills confirming international agreements and treaties and two candidate lists - one for an RBA Council member and one for members of the Serbian Broadcasting Agency’s Programme Committee.

The following can be found among the Bills submitted by the Government: the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Judges, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Public Prosecution, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Organisation and Jurisdiction of Government Authorities in War Crime Proceedings, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Organisation and Jurisdiction of Government Authorities in Suppression of High Technology Crime, Bill on the Judicial Academy, Bill on Data Confidentiality, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Free Access to Information of Public Importance and Bill determining the maximum number of employees in republic administration.

At the sitting, the National Assembly shall also debate the Bill regulating the relationship between the Republic of Serbia and loan recipient or guarantor for obligations undertaken under International Bank for Reconstruction and Development Loans, Bill on Classification of Activities, Bill on Official Statistics, Bill on 2011 Census on population, Households and Dwellings, Bill on 2011 Agricultural Census, Bill determining public interest in the expropriation of real estate for the construction of magisterial pipeline MG-11, Bill on Pipeline Transportation of Gas and Liquid Hydrocarbons and Distribution of Gas Hydrocarbons, Bill amending and modifying the Mining Law and Bill on Expiration of the Law on Affiliation into Community of Yugoslav Electro-Economy.

The agenda also contains: the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Travel Documents, Bill on Unified Voter Register, Bill on Gender Equality, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Amicable Resolution of Labour Disputes, Bankruptcy Bill, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Agency for Licensing Bankruptcy Managers, Bill on Watermarks, Bill on Protection of Integrated Circuit Topography, Bill on Legal Protection of Industrial Design and Bill on Copyright and Related Rights.

The National Assembly shall also consider the Candidate List for Member of the Council of the Republic Broadcasting Agency from the ranks of domestic non-government organisations and civic associations, submitted by the Culture and Information Committee and the Candidate List for Members of the Programme Committee of the Serbian Broadcasting Agency, submitted by the National Assembly’s Culture and Information Committee and the Council of the Republic Broadcasting Agency.

The sitting shall be held at the House of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in Belgrade, 13 Nikola Pasic Square.
