Thirty-Fifth Sitting of the Culture and Information Committee
At the sitting held on 27 June, the members of the Culture and Information Committee considered the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement on Cooperation in the field of culture, higher education, scientific research, education, expert training, communications, youth and sport between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco and the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the field of education, culture and sport, submitted by the Government.

Ninety-Third Sitting of the Administrative Committee
At the sitting held on 27 June, the Administrative Committee unanimously adopted a Decision to create a Working Group to review the provisions of the Law on the National Assembly and National Assembly Rules of Procedure relating to the MPs’ immunity for the purpose of their amendment. The Working Group is tasked with analysing the provisions of the Law on the National Assembly and National Assembly Rules of Procedure relating to the MPs’ immunity as well as informing the Administrative Committee and National Assembly Speaker on the need to possibly amend the regulations.

Forty-First Sitting of the Committee on Defense and Security
At the sitting held on 27 June, the Committee on Defense and Security considered the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and the Kingdom of Spain on cooperation in the field of fighting against crime and the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation on information security and Code of practice, submitted by the Government.

Republic of Serbia and Republic of Srpska European Integration Parliamentary Committees Meet
The Committee on European Integration and Regional Cooperation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska and the European Integrations Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia met today, for the first time, in Belgrade. The members of the two assembly committees, headed by their respective chairmen Branislav Borenovic and Laszlo Varga, talked about future cooperation and activities on the road to European integration.

On behalf of EPP, I would like to start by wholeheartedly congratulating my dear colleague Mr Aligrudic on his excellent report on an issue that contributes to the strengthening of our core principles and democratic values, more humane and embracing diversity in calling for the participation of the largest possible number of people in democratic processes.
