Twenty-Ninth Sitting of the Committee on Health and the Family
The Committee on Health and the Family held its twenty-ninth sitting on 29 March 2010. The sitting was chaired by the Committee Chairman, Dr Paja Momcilov and attended by State Secretary at the Ministry of Health Dr Perisa Simonovic, Assistant Minister of Health Zorica Pavlovic, representatives of the Medicines and Medical Devices Agency, Pharmaceutical Chamber of Serbia, Republic Health Insurance Institute, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management – Veterinary Directorate, Galenika and non-governmental organisation Pharmaceutical Core.

At the sitting held on 26 March, the members of the Industry Committee discussed the Proposal of the Decision Granting Consent to the Republic of Serbia Energy Agency’s 2010 Financial Plan and Information on the state of the Serbian construction industry.

EU Council`s Western Balkans Committee Delegation Visits National Assembly
Today at the National Assembly House, a delegation of the European Union Council’s Western Balkans Committee (COWEB) visiting Serbia from 23 to 26 March, talked in separate meetings with the Chairmen of three assembly committees – European Integrations Laszlo Varga, Foreign Affairs Prof. Dr Dragoljub Micunovic and Justice and Administration Bosko Ristic, and then with National Assembly Secretary General Veljko Odalovic and representatives of independent regulatory bodies.

Children’s Rights Working Group members Snezana Stojanovic-Plavsic, Nikola Krpic, Zlata Djeric, Milan Stanimirovic, Milica Vojic Markovic, Snezana Sedlar and Meho Omerovic, headed by the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and Chairperson of the Children’s Rights Working Group Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic, visited the local self-government in Leskovac as part of the Working Group’s activities.
