    Information on Parliamentary Questions to be Held on Last Thursday of the Month

    The Speaker of the National Assembly, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic, informed the MPs that the parliamentary questions institute envisaged by article 205 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure will be implemented on Thursday, 29 September 2011, between 4 and 7 p.m. considering that the Eleventh Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2011 has not been concluded yet.

    Promotion of Serbian-Roma Dictionary

    The first Serbian-Roma dictionary with grammar and orthography by Bajram Haliti was presented today at the National Assembly House. The promotion was attended by National Assembly Deputy Speaker Gordana Comic and MP Jovan Damjanovic.

    Ninetieth Sitting of the Justice and Administration Committee

    On Voting Day, 26 September, in line with Article 165 of the Rules of Procedure, the Justice and Administration Committee submitted an amendment to Article 378, paragraph 3 of the Civil Procedure Bill for the purpose of harmonisation with the text of the adopted amendment, with modification, submitted by MP Djordje Milicevic to Article 85 of the Bill.

    Judges Take Oath of Office

    Judges elected under the Decision on the adoption of objections and the election of judges to permanent judicial office adopted in the process of reexamining the decisions of the first constitution of the High Judicial Council on the termination of judicial office by the High Judicial Council at its sittings held on 20 July, 22 July and 9 September 2011, took the oath of office before the National Assembly Speaker, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic.

    Eighty-Ninth Sitting of the Justice and Administration Committee

    At the sitting held on 26 September, the Justice and Administration Committee unanimously adopted the proposal to submit a Report to the National Assembly noting the termination of office of Krsman Ilic, public prosecutor at the Nis Appellate Public Prosecutor’s Office, effective on 23 September 2011 considering that the 30-day period from the submission of the request for termination had expired without the National Assembly ruling on the termination of office.
