Second Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2010 Convened
At the request of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, the Speaker of the National Assembly, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic, convened the Second Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2010, for Monday, 7 June 2010, starting at 11 a. m. As specified in the request to hold the session, the agenda will contain eight items: the Bill on Electronic Communication, Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement on Establishment of the Regional School of Public Administration (RESPA), Bill amending and modifying the Law on Higher Education Law, Bill on Court Experts, Bill amending and modifying the Law on the National Bank of Serbia, Bill on the Confirmation of the Memorandum of Consent between the Republic of Serbia and the European Community on the Participation of the Republic of Serbia in the Community Programme “Development of Information Communication Technologies Policy Support Programme (ICT PSP) of the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP) (from 2007 to 2013)”, Proposal of the Decision on the Use of the Serbian Army and Other Defense Forces in Multinational Operations in 2010 and Proposal of the Decision on the Participation of Serbian Army Personnel in Multinational Operations in 2010. The Second Extraordinary Session will be held at the House of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 13 Nikola Pasic Square.

Press Conference Marks End of 35th PABSEC General Assembly
A press conference was held upon the completion of the 35th Plenary Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC), chaired by Serbia in the first half of 2010. The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and PABSEC Chair Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic, Deputy Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Nevzat Pakdil, PABSEC Vice-Presidents Vassilios Geranidis and Mehmet Cicek, as well as Aleksey Kudriavtsev, PABSEC Secretary General spoke, at the press conference.
