National Assembly Takes Part in Interparliamentary Conference “Power of the Wallet: Budgetary Powers and Procedure in the European Parliament”
A delegation of the National Assembly comprising National Assembly Deputy Speaker and member of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending Veroljub Arsic, European Integration Committee Deputy Chairperson Elvira Kovacs, European Integration Committee member Zarko Micin and member of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending Zoran Krasic is taking part in the Interparliamentary Conference “Power of the wallet: Budgetary powers and procedure in the European Parliament”.
The Conference, co-organized by the European Parliament and Macedonian Assembly (Sobranie), will be held in the building of the Macedonian Assembly in Skopje on 26 February 2018 with the participation of MPs the Western Balkans and Turkey and MEPs.
The participants will have the opportunity to learn about the budgetary procedures in the European Parliament, drafting and implementation of multiannual EU budgets, supervision of EU budget execution, talk about budgetary procedures in their respective national parliaments and exchange best practices concerning the establishment of parliamentary budget offices.
