Gojkovic said meeting at the National Assembly House, the historic edifice that hosted the founding summit of the Non-Aligned Movement, in especially significant in view of Serbia’s strategic goal to strengthen and rekindle both bilateral and multilateral cooperation with African countries, with a special focus on the spheres of education, economy, agriculture, industry, trade, healthcare and culture.

Gojkovic said that the National Assembly is open and ready to develop interparliamentary cooperation at the highest level, as well as the level of working bodies in areas of special interest, as well as within international parliamentary organizations.

Gojkovic praised the many Serbia-Liberia cooperation agreements, stressing that the National Assembly is ready to ratify them and contribute to the overall development of bilateral cooperation.

Liberian Foreign Minister Gbehzohngar Milton Findley said that Liberia would like to advance and concretize cooperation with Serbia in a number of areas, especially economy, agriculture and tourism, and urged to expand parliamentary cooperation as an important segment of relations between the two countries.
