15th Sitting of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government

At the sitting held on 13 January 2026, the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government considered in detail the bills within its purview, currently on the agenda of the Sixth Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2025, 14th Legislature.

Of the 41 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Seats and Territorial Jurisdiction of Courts and Public Prosecutor's Offices, submitted by MP Dr Ugljesa Mrdic, the submitter of the Bill and the Committee accepted eight.

Of the 15 amendments submitted to the Bill amending the Law on the High Prosecutorial Council, the submitter, Dr Ugljesa Mrdic, and the Committee accepted none.

The submitter of the Bill and the Committee accepted none of the 50 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on the Organization and Competence of State Bodies for the Fight against High-Tech Crime.

The MPs had submitted 59 amendments to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Public Prosecution, of which the submitter of the Bill, MP Dr Ugljesa Mrdic and the Committee accepted two.

Of the nine amendments submitted to the Bill amending the Law on Judges, the submitter of the Bill, MP Dr Ugljesa Mrdic and the Committee accepted none.

Of the six amendments submitted to the Bill amending the Law on Civil Servants, submitted by the Government, the Government and the Committee accepted none.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Ugljesa Mrdic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Natasa Milic Milas, Lidija Nacic, Djordje Komlenski, Nikola Bokan, Risto Kostov, Jasmina Palurovic, Jovan Palalic, Verica Milanovic, Bogdan Radovanovic and Boris Bajic.
