The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojkovic met today with the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the Republic of Namibia, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah.
They said that there is especial interest to advance economic cooperation in the fields of infrastructure, agriculture, technology transfer and pharmacy, and Gojkovic added that the National Assembly is ready to ratify any agreements that might result from the two governments’ talks.
Gojkovic and Nandi-Ndaitwah also advocated initiating and developing interparliamentary cooperation at the level of parliament speakers, parliamentary committees and women’s parliamentary networks, agreeing that parliamentary friendship groups could play a significant role in the process.
