40th Sitting of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending

At the sitting held on 25 October 2023, the members of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending considered in detail a number of bills on the agenda of the First Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2023.

The Government and the Committee accepted neither of the two amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Budget System Law.

The Government and the Committee accepted none of the 106 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on the Fees for the Use of Public Goods.

The Government and the Committee accepted none of the three amendments submitted to the Bill Granting Guarantee by the Republic of Serbia in favour of Postal Savings Bank, joint-stock company, Belgrade under the debt of “Serbia Cargo” Railway Cargo Transport joint-stock company, Belgrade.

The Government and the Committee accepted none of the nine amendments submitted to the Bill on the indebtedness of the Republic of Serbia with Postal Savings Bank, joint-stock company, Belgrade for the financing of the Line Infrastructure Construction Project for the Development of a New Area within the Construction on the National Football Stadium with Accompanying Facilities on the Territory of the City Municipality of Surcin in Belgrade.

The Government and the Committee accepted none of the 100 amendments submitted to the Bill on Special Procedures for the Realisation of International Specialised Exhibition EXPO BELGRADE 2027.

The Government and the Committee accepted none of the eight amendments submitted to the Bill on the indebtedness of the Republic of Serbia with UniCredit Banka Srbija a.d. Beograd for the financing of the Line Infrastructure Construction Project for the Development of a New Area within the Construction on the National Football Stadium with Accompanying Facilities on the Territory of the City Municipality of Surcin in Belgrade.

The Government and the Committee accepted none of the 33 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Public Procurement.

The Government and the Committee did not accept the amendment submitted to the Bill amending the Law on Taxes for the Use, Possession and Carrying of Goods.

The Government and the Committee accepted none of the 16 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Electronic Invoicing.

The Government and the Committee accepted none of the four amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Republic Administrative Fees.

The Government and the Committee accepted none of the six amendments submitted to the Bill on the indebtedness of the Republic of Serbia with NLB KOMERCIJALNA BANKA AS BEOGRAD for the financing of the Kragujevac Roundabout Construction Project.

The Government and the Committee accepted none of the five amendments submitted to the Bill on Granting the Guarantee of the Republic of Serbia in favour of KfW, Frankfurt Am Main for the Borrowing of Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS) joint-stock company, Belgrade (Acceleration Program for Renewable Energies in Serbia (APRES), Phase I).

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Veroljub Arsic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Zoran Zecevic, Dragan M. Markovic, Ana Beloica Martac, MA Svetlana Milijic, Tijana Davidovac, Dr Aleksandra Tomic, Aleksandar Jugovic, Rozalia Okresz, Dr Dusan Bajatovic, Zoran Stojanovic and Djordje Stankovic.
