Delegation in the Parliamentary Assembly of NATO

The Assembly is a parliamentary equivalent of NATO, yet formally it does not represent the same organization; it is a forum for the review of defense and security policies of NATO member states and of NATO as an organization. Through guidelines published in its documents, it provides democratic control of the defense policy of NATO in the wider sense of the word. Members of the Parliamentary Assembly of NATO are MPs from the national Parliaments of member states. Main documents adopted by the Parliamentary Assembly of NATO are declarations and resolutions.

Two plenary sessions of the Assembly are convened in the course of a year, one in the spring and one in the fall. Within them, meetings of working bodies are organized.

Our country has been an associate member since 2007.

The composition of the delegation can be downloaded from the appropriate Internet page.
