30th session of the Legislative Committee
At today’s session, the Legislative Committee did not accept the proposal submitted by deputy Rajko Baralic to issue an authorised interpretation of Article 101, Paragraph 2 of the Labour Act.

On Monday 21 June, at the Serbian Assembly, the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Predrag Markovic, and the head of the OSCE Mission to Serbia and Montenegro, His Excellency Ambassador Maurizio Massari, rewarded authors of the best essays on the topic "If I were Prime Minister, I would…".

At its ninth session, the Industry Committee continued debate the Energy Bill in principle.The Committee’s session was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Mining and Energy, who gave a detailed explanation of the Bill, which was, however, not endorsed in principle.

The Vice-chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Zoran Andjelkovic, and the chairman of the Committee on Trade and Tourism, Rajko Baralic, today met the deputy speaker of the Russian Duma, Sergei Nikolaievich Baburin, the chairman of the Joint National Security Commission of Russia and Belarus, Boris Stepanovich Bikinin, and the head of administration of the Joint Commission of Russia and Belarus, Oleg Aleksandrovich Ziza.

Talks on improving the efficiency of Serbia’s courts
The chairman and members of the National Assembly’s Committee on Justice and Administration, Branislav Ristivojevic, Vojkan Tomic and Istvan Takacs, met today at the Assembly the American legal expert Markus Zimmer and representatives of the consultancy Booz Allen Hamilton, on a visit to Serbia at the invitation of the Ministry of Justice.
