Uta Zapf Regrets Amendments Submitted to Draft Resolution on Combat against Illicit Human Organ Trafficking
Uta Zapf, member of the German delegation to the OSCE PA, said today that she regrets submitting amendments to the Draft Resolution on Combat against Illicit Human Organ Trafficking submitted to the OSCE PA by the National Assembly’s standing delegation to the organisation, demanding that the investigation be headed by UNMIK in cooperation with EULEX.

Resolution on Combat against Illicit Human Organ Trafficking Submitted by National Assembly Standing Delegation to OSCE PA Adopted
On the third day of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly session, the General Committee on Democracy, Human Rights and Humanitarian Questions considered the Draft Resolution on Combat against Illicit Human Organ Trafficking, submitted by Suzana Grubjesic, head of the Serbian National Assembly’s standing delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.

20th Annual Session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Opened
In the period between 6 and 10 July, the National Assembly shall host the 20th Annual Session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly. The session in Belgrade gathers more than 240 parliamentarians from Europe, Central Asia and North America.

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic Dejanovic and Chief Executive Officer of the Westminster Foundation for Democracy Linda Duffield signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between the National Assembly and the Westminster Foundation for Democracy at the National Assembly House today.

Republic of Serbia and Republic of Srpska European Integration Parliamentary Committees Meet
The Committee on European Integration and Regional Cooperation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska and the European Integrations Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia met today, for the first time, in Belgrade. The members of the two assembly committees, headed by their respective chairmen Branislav Borenovic and Laszlo Varga, talked about future cooperation and activities on the road to European integration.
