National Assembly Speaker Visits Chongqing
The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic, heading the parliamentary delegation in visit to China, visited Chongqing. Djukic-Dejanovic stressed that the Chongqing authorities have emphasised the great potential for parliamentary and economic cooperation with Serbia, particularly in the fields of infrastructure, railway revitalisation, thermal power plants and agriculture.

Petitions and Proposals Committee Chairman Talks to Civil Society Office Representatives
Today, the Chairman of the Committee on Petitions and Proposals, Sasa Dujovic received the President of the Serbian Unity Congress Dr Slavka Draskovic to discuss the promotion of cooperation between the National Assembly and civil society. The Committee Chairman stated that in the past year the Committee had received more than 900 civic proposals, half of which had been resolved.

Thirty-Third Sitting of the Committee on Kosovo-Metohija
At the sitting held on 30 July, the Committee on Kosovo-Metohija considered and unanimously adopted the Proposal of the Declaration of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia on the current situation in Kosovo and Metohija following the unilateral and violent actions of the provisional institutions of self-government in Pristina.
