Twenty-Seventh Sitting of the Administrative Committee
At the sitting held on 10 December, the Administrative Committee considered the resignation tendered by Milovan Markovic to the post of deputy.
At the sitting held on 10 December, the Administrative Committee considered the resignation tendered by Milovan Markovic to the post of deputy. The Committee determined that Milovan Markovic, elected from the electoral list For European Serbia – Boris Tadic, tendering resignation to the function of deputy, falls under article 88 paragraph 1 item 2 of the Law on Election of Deputies where tendering resignation is listed as one of the reasons for the expiration of deputy’s mandate before the end of the term he was elected for.
The Committee proposed that the National Assembly acknowledge the termination of deputy Milovan Markovic’s mandate and assign the mandate to another candidate from the same electoral list.
