Thirty-Ninth Sitting of the Justice and Administration Committee

At the sitting held on 27 November, the Justice and Administration Committee formulated its Opinion on the Proposal of the High Judicial Council for the election of President of the Supreme Court of Cassation stating that Nata Mesarevic, Acting President of the Serbian Supreme Court be elected President of the Supreme Court of Cassation.



At the sitting held on 27 November, the Justice and Administration Committee formulated its Opinion on the Proposal of the High Judicial Council for the election of President of the Supreme Court of Cassation stating that Nata Mesarevic, Acting President of the Serbian Supreme Court be elected President of the Supreme Court of Cassation.

The Committee also formulated the Opinion on the Government’s proposal for the election of the Republic Public Prosecutor and election of public prosecutors. According to the proposal, Zagorka Dolovac, acting public prosecutor at the at the District Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade is nominated for Republic Public Prosecutor. The Government proposed that Miljko Radisavljevic, Special Prosecutor for Organised Crime, be elected Prosecutor for Organised Crime and that Vladimir Vukcevic, War Crimes Prosecutor, be elected War Crimes Prosecutor.

At the sitting, the Committee also endorsed the Proposal on the election of 32 public prosecutors in basic prosecutors offices, as well as the Proposal of the Decision on the election of 25 public prosecutors in higher public prosecutors offices, submitted by the Government to the to the National Assembly for adoption.

The sitting was chaired by Bosko Ristic, Committee Chairman.
