At the sitting held on 30 October, the Finance Committee considered and endorsed the Bill on the Confirmation of the Loan Agreement (Corridor 10 Motorway Project) between the Republic of Serbia and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, in principle. The Bill, submitted by the Government under urgent procedure, was included in the agenda for the Third Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly.

The sitting was chaired by Zoran Krasic, Committee Chairman.

The Committee also completed a discussion in principle on seven Bills on the agenda for the Second Sitting of the Second Regular Session: the Bill determining public interest in the expropriation of real estate for the construction of magisterial pipeline MG-11, Bankruptcy Bill, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Agency for Licensing Bankruptcy Managers, Bill on the Confirmation of the Guarantee Agreement (rollingstock – multipartite electric-motor units) between the Republic of Serbia and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Bill on the Confirmation of the Guarantee Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and the European Investment Bank (Improvement of the electricity network of PC Serbian Electricity Network), Bill on the Confirmation of the Loan Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Italy for the realisation of programme “Loan Assistance for small and medium enterprises via the domestic banking sector and support of local development via public communal enterprises” and Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Kingdom of Denmark on Avoidance of Double Taxation Regarding Income and Property Tax. The Bills were elaborated by Aleksandra Popovic, representative of the Ministry of Finance.

At the sitting, the Committee members also considered and endorsed in principle the Bill on the Confirmation of the Proposed Amendment to the Statute of the International Monetary Fund, elaborated by Zoran Nisavic, representative of the National Bank of Serbia.
