Thirty-Fourth Sitting of the Committee on Labour, Ex-Servicemen’s and Social Issues
The Committee on Labour, Ex-Servicemen’s and Social Issues held its thirty-fourth sitting on 27 December, chaired by Committee Chairman Meho Omerovic.

The Committee members considered the Bill amending and modifying the Pension and Disability Insurance Law, in detail.
The sitting was attended by Radina Todorovic, State Secretary and Zoran Milosevic, Assistant Minister at the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy.
The deputies had submitted a total of 75 amendments to the Bill amending and modifying the Pension and Disability Insurance Law. The Committee members accepted 2 of the amendments. In addition, the Committee itself submitted 1 amendment to the Bill.
Regarding the amendment proposal submitted to the Committee by deputy Gordana Rajkov to article 19 of the Bill, calling for a specification of the term of medical aids so as to forestall potentially diverse interpretations of the expression “not even with the use of medical aids”, the Committee concluded to approach the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy and request an explanation whether the words “not even with the use of medical aids” include persons using wheelchairs as medical aids.
