The Committee on Health and the Family held its thirty-first sitting on 20 May 2010. The sitting was chaired by the Committee Chairman, Dr Paja Momcilov.

The Committee members considered the petitions forwarded to the Committee on Health and the Family by citizens and organisations.

The sitting was attended by the State Secretary at the Ministry of Health Dr Perisa Simonovic, Assistant Minister of Health Zorica Pavlovic, Chairmen of the Assembly of the Dentists’ Chamber of Serbia Dr Milomir Jelcic and DCS Board of Directors Prof. Dr Nikola Buric.

The representatives of the Dentists’ Chamber of Serbia briefed the Committee members and representatives of the Ministry of Health on the irregularities and problems in the operation of the DCS.

The representatives of the Ministry of Health informed the Committee members that the legality of the chamber’s work and documents is currently under administrative supervision.

Committee Chairman Dr Paja Momcilov reminded those present that the Committee had already considered the SDC’s problems and made conclusions on the occasion.
