Thirty-Fifth Sitting of the Justice and Administration Committee

The Committee also discussed several nominations for the election of members of the High Judicial Council and State Prosecutors’ Council: Proposal for the election of elective member of the First Composition of the High Judicial Council from the ranks of attorneys at law and Proposal for the election of elective member of the First Composition of the State Prosecutors’ Council from the ranks of attorneys at law. Both proposals had been submitted by the Serbian Bar Association. The Committee also discussed the Proposal of the Joint Session of Deans of Serbian Law Faculties for the election of elective member of the High Judicial Council from the ranks of Professors of Serbian Law Faculties.
The Committee unanimously ruled that all the proposals submitted by the authorised submitters adhere to the law.
The Committee went on to adopt the Proposal of the decision on termination of judicial office due to mandatory retirement of Slobodan Cuk, Belgrade District Court Judge, Milijana Spasojevic, Nis Commercial Court Judge, Dr Senad Dzinic, Subotica District Court Judge, Gligorije Spasojevic, Serbian Supreme Court Judge, Mila Stanojevic, Novi Sad District Court Judge and Dragoslav Zimonjic, Kraljevo District Court Judge. The Committee concluded to forward the Decision Proposal to the National Assembly.
