At the sitting held on 17 December, the Administrative Committee considered the Republic Electoral Commission Report on filling a vacant deputy seat. The Committee noted that with the termination of the mandate of deputy Jagoda Jorga, elected from the electoral list For European Serbia-Boris Tadic, a deputy seat had been left vacant at the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, under article 88 of the Law on the Election of Deputies.

Based on the Republic Electoral Commission Report and certificate of election of deputy Ljiljana Zdravkovic, elected from the electoral list For European Serbia-Boris Tadic, the Administrative Committee ascertained that the conditions have been met to verify the mandate of said deputy. The Committee also proposed that the National Assembly acknowledge the verification of Ljiljana Zdravkovic’s mandate.

The Committee also passed a decision to provide financial aid for humanitarian purposes. The 112 000 dinars worth of means come from the fines collected from measures pronounced to the deputies at the sittings of the Fifth Extraordinary Session and Second Regular Session of the National Assembly in 2008. These means will be paid to the Association for the help of mentally insufficiently developed persons in Bor as beneficiary.

In addition, the Committee passed a Decision on a 3000 dinar fine for deputy Sava Peric for the reprimand received for the violation of order at the sitting of the Fifth Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly in 2008.

The Committee sitting was chaired by the Deputy Chairman Nenad Konstantinovic.
