Third Trilateral Meeting of Romanian, Bulgarian and Serbian Parliamentary Committees on Foreign Affairs/Policy

A delegation of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia is taking part in the 3rd trilateral meeting of the Romanian, Bulgarian and Serbian parliamentary committees on foreign affairs/policy in Bucharest, 11- 13 December 2018.

The delegation headed by Committee Chairman Prof. Dr Zarko Obradovic comprises Committee Deputy Chairperson Dubravka Filipovski and Committee member Dr Sanda Raskovic Ivic.

The central topics of the meeting are “Power of education as lever of national security – coordinating current and traditional education trends” and ”EU Strategy of the Danube Region”

The head of the Serbian delegation Prof. Dr Zarko Obradovic also had a meeting with the President of the Romanian Senate Calin Popescu Tariceanu.

The Serbian delegation, along with the Bulgarian delegation, was also received by Romanian Foreign Minister Teodor Melescanu.

The parliamentarians agreed to invite representatives of the Hellenic Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee to the next meeting in Sofia.
