The National Assembly Speaker set the following agenda:

1. Bill on the Assumption of Assets and Liabilities of Certain Banks for the purpose of Maintaining the Stability of the Financial System of the Republic of Serbia, submitted by the Government.

Minister of Finance and Economy Mladjan Dinkic, representative of the submitter, elaborated the Bill for the MPs.

In the morning part of the proceedings, before moving on to the agenda, based on the Decision of the Republic Electoral Commission and at the proposal of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues, the National Assembly noted the verification of the term of office of MP Branislav Mitrovic, elected from the UNITED REGIONS OF SERBIA - MLADJAN DINKIC Electoral List. The MP proceeded to take the oath of office.

By the end of the day the National Assembly had conducted and concluded the debate in principle on the Bill on the Assumption of Assets and Liabilities of Certain Banks for the purpose of Maintaining the Stability of the Financial System of the Republic of Serbia.

On the second day of the proceedings, 25 October, the MPs posed questions to the Government of the Republic of Serbia, as stipulated in article 205, paragraph 1, of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure, from 4:25 to 7:25 pm.

On the third day of the proceedings, 26 October, the National Assembly conducted and concluded a debate in detail on the Bill on the Assumption of Assets and Liabilities of Certain Banks for the purpose of Maintaining the Stability of the Financial System of the Republic of Serbia.

As the National Assembly had concluded the debate in principle and in detail on the only item on the agenda for the Third Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly in 2012, the Chair, National Assembly Deputy Speaker Vesna Kovac, set Friday, 26 October 2012, as Voting Day on the item on the agenda for the Third Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly in 2012, starting at 5:35 pm.

Voting Day

On Voting Day, 26 October 2012, the National Assembly adopted the Bill on the Assumption of Assets and Liabilities of Certain Banks for the purpose of Maintaining the Stability of the Financial System of the Republic of Serbia, by a majority of votes.

As the National Assembly had completed the debate on the only item on the agenda and ruled on it, the Chair, National Assembly Deputy Speaker Vesna Kovac, concluded the Third Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2012.
