At the sitting held on 4 September, the Finance Committee determined the Proposal of the Decision of cessation of Function of Prof. Dr Borko Krstic at the post of member of the Council of the National Bank of Serbia, due to resignation. The Committee also discussed the nominations and determined the Proposal of the Decision for the election of members of the Council of the National Bank of Serbia.

Four nominations for NBS Council members have been submitted to the Finance Committee: Prof. Dr Zorica Mladenovic nominated by the G17 Plus Deputy Group; Prof. Dr Milojko Arsic nominated by the Deputy Group For European Serbia; Prof. Dr Pavle Petrovic nominated by the Deputy Group For European Serbia and Borka Vucic nominated by the SPS-PUPS-US Deputy Group.

Following the discussion the Committee ruled that Prof. Dr Zorica Mladenovic and Prof. Dr Milojko Arsic be proposed to the National Assembly as NBS Council members, as well as that the proposed candidates be elected for a five-year period. The Committee members named deputy Branka Ljiljak as rapporteur on this issue.
