Students and pupils from Canada visit National Assembly
In an event organised of the Centre of Emigrants of Serbia, ethnic Serbian students and pupils from Canada today visited the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.
In an event organised of the Centre of Emigrants of Serbia, ethnic Serbian students and pupils from Canada today visited the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.
The Assembly building, at 14 Kralja Milana Street, the young visitors were able to get acquainted with the Assembly procedures, and were shown works of art on permanent display in the Assembly building. The students could also see the newly renovated Nikola Pasic Hall, as well as the Lesser Hall and the Assembly Hall, where they were screened a short film about the National Assembly.
In a short speech to the Canadian guests, the Assembly Chairman, Predrag Markovic, described the job and responsibilities of the Assembly Chairman, Secretary, Personnel Departments and Deputies, underlining the their joint responsibility for adopting new laws that are improving Serbia.
