Speaker Meets with OSCE PA Observation Mission Delegation

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic Dejanovic, acting President of the Republic of Serbia, spoke to a delegation of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly currently in Belgrade in a preparatory mission for the observation of the elections called for 6 May.


The delegation members declared the pre-election atmosphere in Serbia good and democratic and expressed their belief that the electoral process will be successfully completed. They said that the OSCE observers will be deployed in 15 teams across Serbia on the day of the elections. Speaker Slavica Djukic Dejanovic welcomed the presence of the election observation mission and opined that high democratic election standards will be implemented.

The OSCE PA delegation comprised Matteo Mecacci, head of the OSCE election observation mission in Serbia and Roberto Montella, Deputy Director of the OSCE PA Field Operations.
