Sixty-fourth anniversary of World War II mass execution of civilians marked in Kragujevac
At the invitation of the mayor of Kragujevac, Veroljub Stevanovic, the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Predrag Markovic, again attended memorial services to mark the 64th anniversary of the mass execution of civilians in Kragujevac during World War II.
At the invitation of the mayor of Kragujevac, Veroljub Stevanovic, the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Predrag Markovic, again attended memorial services to mark the 64th anniversary of the mass execution of civilians in Kragujevac during World War II.
Mr Markovic laid a wreath at the monument in Sumarice, near Kragujevac, and attended the main event of the memorial service honouring the schoolchildren killed in Nazi reprisals.
