Sixth Sitting of the Committee on the Rights of the Child

At the sitting held on 29 July 2021, the Committee on the Rights of the Child considered the Ministry of Family Care and Demography Activity Information for the period April – June 2021.

The Activity Information was presented by Minister of Family Care and Demography Radomir Dmitrovic who said that the Ministry had worked very actively to prepare amendments and modifications to the Law on Financial Support to Families with Children and advance the operation of welfare centres. He also spoke about the project the Ministry is currently conducting, concerning balancing parenting and career.

Following a debate, the Committee accepted the Ministry of Family Care and Demography Activity Information for the period April – June 2021.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Ivica Dacic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Radovan Tvrdisic, Academician Muamer Zukorlic, Jelena Mijatovic, Jelena Obradovic, Nikola Lazic, Vesna Stambolic, Natasa Ivanovic, Violeta Ocokoljic, Milija Miletic, Milanka Jevtovic Vukojicic, Milijana Sakic, Dr Vesna Ivkovic, Ilija Zivotic, Haji Milorad Stosic, Dr Emese Uri and Danijela Veljovic.
