Sixth Sitting of the Committee on Health and the Family
On 3 November 2008, the Committee on Health and the Family held its sixth sitting.The Committee members discussed the Proposal of the Decision on the election of members of the Health Council of Serbia, submitted by the Government.

The Committee members discussed the Proposal of the Decision on the election of members of the Health Council of Serbia, submitted by the Government.
The sitting was chaired by the Committee Chairman, Dr Paja Momcilov and attended by the Assistant Minister of Health, Zorica Pavlovic.
By a majority of votes, the Committee ruled that the Proposal of the Decision in the form in which it was submitted is incomplete and should be supplemented by the nominees’ biographies. The Committee unanimously decided to recommend that the Ministry of Health implement supervisory measures on the work of the Dentists’ Chamber of Serbia.
Dr Djura Mucenski, Committee member, submitted a Report on the Committee delegation’s study visit to the Parliament of the Republic of Poland, and the Committee Chairman, Dr Paja Momcilov informed the Committee of the visit to the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska.
The Committee members also discussed the proposals forwarded to the Committee by citizens and organisations.
