Seventy-Second Sitting of the Justice and Administration Committee
At the sitting held on 19 April, the Justice and Administration Committee unanimously passed the Decision to hold a public hearing on the Draft Version of the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Election of Deputies.
At the sitting held on 19 April, the Justice and Administration Committee unanimously passed the Decision to hold a public hearing on the Draft Version of the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Election of Deputies.
The public hearing will be held on Thursday, 21 April at 9 a.m. at the Small Hall of the National Assembly House.
The following are invited to the public hearing: the heads of the National Assembly parliamentary groups, a Constitutional Court representative, Minister of Human and Minority Rights, Public Administration and Local Self-Government, representatives of the OSCE, Council of Europe, European Commission, USAID and UNDP, as well as the Equality Commissioner, representatives of the Lawyers’ Committee for Human Rights, Civic Initiative, European Movement, Transparency Serbia, professors of the Faculty of Law, Faculty of Political Sciences and others.
At the sitting, the Committee members considered and accepted the draft version of the text of the decision on the creation of a commission for the control of the enforcement of penal sanctions.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Bosko Ristic.
